Your first class at Bondi Studios
Our classes are designed to suit everybody, whether you’ve tried Reformer Pilates before or you’re brand new. If you are new to Reformer workouts, we recommend you book into a Bondi Balance class. This is a group class with more focus on your individual needs, taught at a pace that allows you to get to know the equipment and principles or our flows.
What to wear
We suggest wearing comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for movement, ideally with some stretch. Avoid clothing with zippers or buttons. Grippy socks are mandatory for each flow and available to purchase at the studio. Our studios are shoe-free, with designated areas to leave your footwear.
What to bring
Please bring a water bottle to make sure you stay hydrated during your workout. Water are also available for purchase at our studio. Please also bring your own sweat towel. Everything you’ll need for your workout is at the studio. Socks are a requirement to move with us and special grippy pilates socks are available for purchase at the studio.
Arriving
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your first class so that you can get to know the studio, your instructor and the Reformer. Due to safety reasons you can not join a class without having received proper instructions first.
Duration of classes
Our regular flows are 55 minutes long, with designated time for warm-up and cool-down.
Hygiene
After every class we will ensure the Reformers are cleaned & disinfected.
Amenities
We offer toilets, a changing room, a shower and lockers for your personal items.
Safety
For your own health & safety, you cannot enter the class once we have started moving. To make the most of your workout, we recommend bringing grippy socks. We have a small changing area and kindly ask that you bring minimal belongings to help keep these areas clear and your personal items safe.
Pre & Post-Natal
With the proper modifications, many women practice Pilates during pregnancy. If you would like to keep moving with us during this special time, please get your doctor’s approval first. We offer a designated Bumps & Babies class, where you can also bring your baby (until 4 months old or when it starts being mobile) along. Please note that for your own safety and due to the intensity of our regular group classes, they can’t be joined when pregnant.
After birth we will be delighted to welcome you back at the studio, with your doctor’s approval, at a minimum of 6 weeks following a natural birth and 10-12 weeks post C-section. We recommend you book a Bumps & Babies class for your first session back.
Advanced classes (Bondi Boost)
We offer advanced flows called Bondi Boost. We highly recommend booking into these flows only once you have tried a few Bondi Burn classes, as they are more challenging in pace and require the knowledge of our fundamental techniques and exercises.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your class 24 hours in advance through our booking plattform and your class credits will be refunded back into your account. Class cancellations within the 24 hour time period of your class will result in forfeiting the class and credits will not be refunded without a proof of a medical certificate. This certificate needs to be sent to capetown@bondi-studios.com within 24 hours after the booked class. Furthermore, the booked class needs to be set as “late cancellation” in order for the spot to be available to other customers. Sickness notes have to be issued for the person who booked the class. ONLY then, a refund can be issued.
Please note, that due to insurance reasons your spot in a class can not be passed on to a family member or friend.
Lateness
Due to safety reasons and respect to other class members, we have the following policy: once the curtain is closed and we have started moving, entry is NOT PERMITTED anymore. Your spot will be forfeited and your credit will not be refunded. Especially if it is your first flow, please arrive with at least 10 minutes to spare, so we can introduce you to the equipment before your class. If you have any further questions about our cancellation or lateness policy please get in touch with us at capetown@bondi-studios.com and we will be happy to assist you.

You can park along the nearby streets in Camps Bay. Street parking is generally available around the studio, but availability can vary, especially during busy beach hours.
